We are proud to announce another new signing to the Reprise Publishing roster – Linden
Linden is a drum and bass aficionado and now a promising producer within that scene creating music that demonstrates his love of tech step whilst incorporating a palette of ambient and atmospheric textures. The affable Belfast native has roots in hip hop, world music and electronica and draws upon a diverse range of influences within his compositions.
Early releases on Horizons Music including the ‘Empires EP’ in collaboration with Blocks [Narratives Music] and ‘Letting go’ helped to announce the talent of this new artist and gathered support from the likes of Loxy & Ink, Doc Scott, Teebee, Bailey and Dj Flight.
In 2012 the Tradition EP in collaboration with Quantum Soul on Inside Recordings helped to showcase Linden’s versatility as a producer. Remix duties for noteworthy artists such as Data, Raiden and Amoss and recent excursions on labels including Renegade Hardware and Samurai Music have helped to cement Linden’s position within the scene and he is currently busy honing his sound and preparing further solo material for release.
We are proud to announce another new signing to the Reprise Publishing roster – SFR
Over the last 7 years, SFR has built up a solid reputation as the “go to guy” for quality South African Bass Music. A testament to this is his extensive discography of 12” vinyl releases on international labels including the massive UK-based imprints, Trouble On Vinyl and Zombie Recordings.
In 2008, the signature SFR sound began to evolve and he took on the dance music behemoth that is Dubstep. He has since focused on developing a unique style within the genre by adding a unique South African influence to a heavy bass-led sound, with emphasis aimed squarely at the dance floor. This has proven successful and again saw SFR line up a string of vinyl releases on UK and US based labels including Guinea Pig, Grid Recordings, Hollow Point and W10 Recordings.
Last year saw SFR work closely with a few renowned South African artists including Jack Parow and Van Coke Kartel, amongst others. Heʼs the producer behind Jack Parowʼs smash hit “Byellville” and officially remixed Van Coke Kartelʼs single “Ondier Kom” off their “Skop, Skiet en Donder” album.
Aside from being a studio wunderkind, SFR has also made a name for himself in the world of performance. Heʼs played electrifying sets across South Africa and has toured Belgium, France, Germany, Sweden, Holland, Switzerland and the UK on numerous occasions since 2007.
Having just released a new single on N-typeʼs Wheel & Deal Records, things can only get bigger for this South African talent.

We are proud to announce another new signing to the Reprise Publishing roster – Alburn
Alburn was born in a flat in Morningside, on a brown couch which propped up many a recording session as they wrote their firstfew songs. Releasing song by song on every kind of social media site they could sign up for, Alburn gathered followers from all over the world. The music itself is most audibly influenced by the East Coast scene in the US, hints of bands such as Brand New and Moving Mountains. Alburn’s music is melodic but with a distinctly raw edge to it.
Their debut EP ‘Engines’, released summer 2012, was well received and the band continue to write and record with plans of an early 2013 release on the cards.
Alburn are a band full of hope and we are really looking forward to hearing what they are going to deliver next.
