We are proud to announce another new signing to the Reprise Publishing roster – Nehuen
DJ and Producer Nehuen is a man of waist winding rhythms and bone crushing bass. Swinging between Tropicalia (Brazilian music movement that arose in the 60′s), 2- Step Garage, Hip Hop and the much loved UK Bass Music. He defiantly juggles his sub bass between genres and tempos to great effect. His trajectory from Buenos Aires to Europe has seen him collect a diverse palette of sounds.
To date Nehuen has put out Two Eps ‘Let It Go’ (Disboot) and Tropicalia (Corsario Riddem). Along with a string of singles and free downloads, documenting this exciting producer’s cross genre talent.
As a DJ, Nehuen is notorious for his carefully considered yet highly eclectic selections, which grind together a broad platter of filthy beats. Be it strip-club quality Reggaeton, Booty House, Acid, Electro or Deep, Meditative Dubstep, Nehuen will find a way to slam them together, propelling the dancefloor forward in surprise and awe.
Nehuen is now launching Barcelona’s ClassicWorks imprint alongside DJ and producer Cardopusher, which will house many of his forthcoming productions aswel as releasing other artists music.

“The next installment from Cassette Library headquarters is a lights-out stomper designed for the darkest of dancefloors.
On the flip, we introduce the maiden voyage from KARENN aka Blawan and Pariah. Two of the leading lights on R&S Records flex their combined muscle to turn in an uncompromising slice of solid House music.
“London based Senseless Records are doing something a little different to mark their 5th year releasing records.
Label co-honcho DeVille mixed our 7th SR mix way back in April of 2009 and since then they’ve gone a long way to push the music they love, releasing a two CD Vocals & Versions project, which displayed their penchant for thinking outside of the norm, alongside singles from artists like Ghosttown, Pocz & Pacheko and The Phantom (who coincidentally mixed SR #63). So, to mark their 5th anniversary as a label they’ve birthed Synesthesia, a project that unites the visual medium with the physical music product they’re dedicated to producing.
They’ll be releasing five 12” records over the next few months. Each one will be limited to 250 pieces and will be housed in hand screen printed sleeves with an art print insert created by an international collection of artists, each offering their take on one of the five human senses – touch, taste, smell, sight and hearing. Music comes from names like Poirier, Rossi B & Luca, Oris Jay, Cardopusher, JTRP and DJ Eastwood but they won’t tell you who’ll be where or on what until each is released. What we can tell you is that the first release will only be available from their website as of next Monday before it goes on general release and that it features work from The Phantom, Rossi B & Luca and new Polish talent, Venice Calypso.
Rossi B & Luca drop their renowned grime tempo to 130bpm, carving out a dark stepper in ‘Turbo Island’ on the AA side, The Phantom follows last year’s heady Phantom EP with a Wiley-esque Devil mix of ‘Arctic,’ all ice cold fractals and gloop like synths and Venice Calypso introduces himself emphatically with ‘Drifting.’ Following on from the work of fellow Polish artists Phantom, Zeppy Zep and Sentel, Venice Calypso operates in that heavy handed house sphere, pumping his drums whilst smearing neon arcs over the top section. If you grab the digital version you’ll also get Calypso’s track ‘Tunguska’ which further realises a dark dancefloor with its punishing groove and general sense of foreboding along with the full version of Phantom’s ‘Arctic;’ the one that’s loaded with drums and vocal chops.”

We are proud to announce another new signing to our Reprise Publishing roster – Epworth.
Nathaniel Coltrane Wilson aka Epworth is a Nottingham based DJ, Producer and head honcho of the collective Mimm. Named after the late American jazz musician John Coltrane the Glasgow-born 23 year old’s upbringing is firmly rooted in soulful music. His productions take the bass-driven sounds of UK-Bass music and tie them hand in hand with intricate percussion and nostalgic samples which allow a unique organic element to flow through all his productions. His release on Tube10 recordings (due in September) has been receiving DJ support from the likes of Mizz Beats, Von D, Hackman, Jay 5ive, Scratcha DVA and Jamie Grind.
Alongside his duties as a producer and DJ he also runs the Mimm group which hold music, art and clothing as their core principles. The Mimm institution has its headquarters in a city center-based clothing shop which also acts as an in-store art gallery. On top of this Mimm curates eclectic electronic music events which have seen a number of bass music’s biggest names grace their decks: from Night Slugs’ Bok Bok, to the first UK booking of Falty DL back in 2009, to garage stalwart MJ Cole more recently. The following year promises to bring a lot from Epworth and his Mimm collective as their events, label and rosta of producers expands into the UK bass music market.
“Kentucky artist Milyoo is one of those producers who seems perpetually stuck in the borderlands of genre, making appealing, accessible and highly precise bass music that’s too experimental to work as conventional electronic dance music but too structured to be anything else. A flurry of activity this year has him constraining his impulses in a house framework, a look that works surprisingly well. Perhaps the most straight-up house of any of his new releases, “Biogram” sees release on the fledgling West Norwood Cassette Library label, adding another notch into Londoner Bob Bhamra’s similarly mongrel array of influences.
“Biogram” is as prickly and volatile as any other Milyoo production, shards of digital distortion and fuzz catching in its brittle metallic march, as his trademark gasping vocal samples spill out in a choked jumble. With bursts of swooping, aerial attack strings and a particularly throaty diva sample, “Biogram” begins to dream of rave history in its second half, an emotional and nostalgic directive also employed on his recent Kazuadon EP. Label head West Norwood Cassette Library provides a remix on the flip, basically nailing an assertive four-to-the-floor pattern onto the foundation and bringing the rave-referencing highlights into full view.

Greenmoney are the London based DJ/production duo Alex Phountzi, formerly of Bugz In The Attic, and Leo Greenslade, the co-founder and resident of the West London weekly institution YOYO. Having been on a steady rise over the past 12 months, the pair have built up an enviable reputation through their prolific (and well chosen) remix work and a DJ schedule that has seen them travel all over Europe, playing regularly at clubs/events such as Fabric, The Social (Paris), Annie Mac Presents and The Warehouse Project (to name but a few).
Having released their own debut – the Gold Ru$h EP – earlier this summer through A-Trak’s Fools Gold label, as well as recently remixing Professor Green & Lily Allen’s ‘Just Be Good To Me’ and the Redlight produced Mz Bratt ‘Selecta’, the pair are now fully focused on their newly formed Greenmoney Recordings and proud to present the Mista Men collective as their debut signings.
Debut signings Mista Men (aka Mella Dee, Woozee and Kid Kosy) are a young collective of DJ/producers that fall neatly into a very current mould of artists coming out of the UK underground club scene right now. Specializing in forward-thinking, bass-heavy 4×4 house beats with major influences from the throwback sounds of UK Garage, they make exactly the type of music you would hear in a Greenmoney DJ set – which will be the dealmaker for all future signings to the label.
To round the release off in style, the package includes a hot 2-step inspired remix from the South Wales production crew C.R.S.T (Chesus, Rodski, Stroud and Tony Blitz) plus bonus track Hold On for the heads.
Tracklisting:
A1) What U Do To Me (Original)
B1) What U Do To Me (C.R.S.T Remix)
B2) Hold On
Preview:
‘What You Do To Me’ out now exclusively on Juno and in all digital stores as of 13th December.

Mista Men will be following up their release on Car Crash Set with a release on the newly formed Greenmoney Recordings, set up by Leo Greenslade and Alex Phountzi of Greenmoney.
The release will include a C.R.S.T. remix and will drop exclusively on Juno Download on the 6th December with vinyl and all other online stores dropping on the 13th.
We’re very pleased to announce the signing of Mista Men to the Reprise Publishing roster.
Mista Men the DJ/production trio were born and raised in South Yorkshire. Consisting of Kid Kosy, Mella Dee & Woozee, the team started making beats in 2006 after realising that playing other peoples tracks was not fulfilling enough and they became determined to place their own stamp on the music they were so passionate about. With an eager mindset they all began to make tracks separately: Kid Kosy and Woozee’s style was magnetised towards drum and bass, while Mella Dee focused his sights on all things influenced by garage. As the skills of the three like-minded individuals developed, their styles began to fuse and they indulged in the emerging sounds of the underground that blended house and garage at lower tempos, creating a distinct sound that was soon to become Mista Men. Their music is full of diverse influences and has been described as colourful, and beautiful and has a definite depth and energy that has the ability to control any dance-floor.

We’re very pleased to announce the signing of Distal to the Reprise Publishing roster.
Atlanta based producer, and part-owner of Embassy Recordings Distal has found himself rapidly building an internationally familiar brand in 2010. Combining time travel with dance music Distal breaks down the more ambiguous sounds from the past and fuses them with thoughts and equations of the future.
Because of this non-traditional approach to Dubstep, Funky and Techno, Distal has been forced to take a few risks, but along the way has created a very specific and friendly sound for himself. Bridging the gap between techno, breakbeat hardcore, house, funk, gangster rap, and even pop culture, is a tricky formula to entertain. This enthusiasm has already gained the attention of many well-respected shamans and pioneers working in Dubstep and Techno today. Most recently his first two releases under Embassy have graced the track listings of Appleblim, 2562, Joe Nice, Moldy, Ramadanman, BenUFO, Julio Bashmore, Breakage, and Moldy. The list of recognition is set to grow in 2010 with ‘Grape Donut’ being selected for the forthcoming Soul Jazz compilation, ‘Future Bass’.
“Attempt at Yellow” from Distal starts off with lust synths, and syncopate cymbals, with the only hint of what’s to come from the kick drum. The drop into the first section is earth shattering. The cymbals and vocal samples stay for the duration, and the synths come back in during the breakdown. Later on there’s some more sparse bits but it always comes back to that gigantic bassline. Declared a mandatory rewind by Joe Nice, this one will rock any dancefloor. “– Big Ups Magazine
