We’re a London-based independent music publisher specialising in electronic and indie, rock and pop music.

What we do comes from being at the intersection between creativity and business services. We like to call it Publishing Logistics – enabling creative people to do what they do best while we take care of the business side of their musical creations (copyrights).

The bedrock of Publishing Logistics is administration for songwriters and other copyright owners – from registering works, collecting royalties, setting up publishing entities for writers and labels, assisting with contractual matters and advising other aspects regarding a writer’s copyrights.

Our creative services are something we’re also very passionate about – including synchronisation, procuring co-writes and co-production work, and other music licensing opportunities.

We pride ourselves on a proactive and innovative approach, with a keen ear for finding great new music and a keen eye for harnessing great new technology.

Misanthrop had this to say about what the  thought process behind the video and the Energy EP as a whole:

“We wanted to express our deep respect to these immense natural, geological, thermal and chemical energies on this planet and especially to the ones existing in such arctic areas. Humans try to control these energies but at the end we just destroy what we should have taken care of and the arctic frontier seems to be the perfect example that we will lose this fight!”

We are proud to announce another new signing to the Reprise Publishing roster – Stagecoach. 

Stagecoach melt faces at fifty paces with junk-pop juggernauts about pizzas, chess leagues, and Buffy.

Huw Stephens span their single ‘Map To The Freezer’ exhaustively on both his Radio 1 shows. He then invited the band to play the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds 2010, before naming Stagecoach one of his BBC Introducing acts of the year. In February the band recorded a live Radio One session at Maida Vale.

You may have heard Stagecoach on BBC One’s ‘Gavin and Stacey’ Christmas & New Year specials. Channel 4 also used them on season 2 of ‘Skins’. Two of the band’s tracks feature on the international trailer for this year’s   breakoutBritish comedy ‘Killing Bono’.

The band recently toured with indie heroes Johnny Foreigner and Glaswegian rockers Twin Atlantic.
Stagecoach’s new AA single ‘Tony Hawk/Jonah Lomu’ (producer James Kenosha – Pulled Apart By Horses/Dinosaur Pile-Up) was released on May 30th through This is Fake DIY, and the band are now striding gallantly through the Summer’s festival circuit, with dates at The Great Escape, Dot To Dot, 2000 Trees, Kendal Calling and many more.

Stray is a young producer hailing from London, with an aim to break away from many of the bounds of the drum n bass genre and focus on the more musical side of production. With DJ support from the likes of Goldie, Noisia, D-Bridge, Rockwell, Teebee, London Elektricity, Kasra & more and releases out on highly acclaimed labels such as Hospital, Critical, Exit, Brownswood and Invisible, he’s one for the hard-edged music connoisseurs and casual junglists alike to keep a serious eye on.

We are proud to announce another new signing to our Reprise Publishing roster – Last Days Of Lorca.

Last Days of Lorca’s Pete Lambrou, Tim Walters, Anthony Way and David Smith have been together for just over two years. After two full UK tours and high profile support slots with the likes of Martin Grech, Mew, Mono and The Raveonettes, they have gained recognition from Kerrang and Tom Robinson, as well as being featured in Stuart James Smith’s book ‘How To Make it In Music’, as a future ‘ones to watch’. LDOL has received BBC6 airplay as well as being featured on the BBC Introducing Podcasts. The band have also written the soundtrack to Spanish independent filmmaker, Jonathan Cenzual Burley’s recent feature film – el alma de las moscas.

LDOL’s previous single release ‘I Start Fires We Start Riots’ (2009) was engineered by Anthony Chapman – long time live engineer for McLusky and Franz Ferdinand among others – and produced by Tim Foreman – from UK Rock outfit Make Good Your Escape and was mastered by Ace, of Rock Legends Skunk Anansie – who playlisted and championed on his new music Radio show. The track featured in- film and on the soundtrack to Danny Dyer’s hit film, ‘Jack Said’ (October 2009), reaching the top 10 in the official UK sales chart, with front of store racking in all HMV stores across the UK.

Their new E.P. is an organic musical evolution from this progressive outfit. Taking elements of post-hardcore, math-rock and suffusing proceedings with an aura of crystalline shoegaze, LDOL offer a very unique, scintillating and decidedly English take on alternative rock.

Produced by Andy Hawkins at Cottage Road Studios in Leeds – The Damned, The Twang and Ginger of The Wildhearts – Last Days of Lorca’s forthcoming self-titled mini album is released as a digital download, CD, and a Limited Edition 12″ Vinyl in Autumn 2011.

Another addition to the Reprise Publishing roster is a Polish techno DJ and producer, Marcin Czubala.

Marcin Czubala is not your typical techno artist: part of this might have to do with the fact that he hails from Poland; yet another part of it might have to do with his extensive background in classical music. Ultimately, however, what sets Marcin apart are his distinct and idiosyncratic musical stylings. While grounded in minimal house and techno, Marcin’s work always bears his unmistakable signature: slinky, undulating grooves full of bizarre twists and turns that ceaselessly continue to surprise the listener at every turn.

We’re very pleased to announce the signing of Galapaghost to the Reprise Publishing roster.

Galapaghost is the conception of singer/songwriter/one man arsenal Casey Chandler. Chandler is a recent graduate of SUNY Purchase, which he attended from 2005-2009 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Music Production. He hails from the small hippie town of Woodstock, NY where he took his first baby steps towards becoming the musician he has blossomed into today. With no training on any instruments other than saxophone, he quickly picked up the bass when he was 14. Then moved onto guitar a year later and began singing and writing songs. Soon after, he developed a passion for the recording and production aspect of things, thus taking an internship in high school at a recording studio. After the internship, he had discovered his passion and was accepted into the Music Production program at SUNY Purchase. After graduating, he then moved to New York City for 6 months in 2009 and released his first two EP’s entitled “Our Lost Generation” & “Neptunes”. He has played many shows out in New York City clubs and bars. After growing immensely jaded about New York as a whole, he decided to move to Austin, TX in July 2010, which he now calls his home. Shortly after arriving in Austin, Chandler recorded his 3rd EP entitled “Runnin’”. This will be his last EP. Chandler writes, produced, records, mixes, and masters all of his songs entirely by himself. His song writing is predominantly, but not limited to indie folk based music, with a focus on ukulele for many of his songs. His song writing pulls from many different influences from Midlake to Simon & Garfunkel to Neil Young to Radiohead. He has recently finished a European tour with John Grant in the summer of 2010 as well as playing a prestigious slot on Later…With Jools Holland in September of 2010. He will be doing a North American headlining tour with John Grant in December of 2010.

We’re very pleased to announce the signing of Liam Dullaghan to the Reprise Publishing roster.

There’s more than a hint of the alt country singer to Liam but thats not to say he sings in faux American accent or that he brandishes a bleeding heart on his sleeve like a medal of war. Quite the opposite in fact. Liam writes subtle pretty songs full of seemingly throwaway lyrics, whose melodies linger in the air long after the songs themselves have finished. 22 of them on one demo, which you’d probably do best (or worse) to immerse yourself in very late at night and think about the one that got away…or just listen.

Before this incarnation as a solo performer he was in a band called The Havenots. If you need a few lazy comparisons try Ryan Adams, Elliot Smith and Jens Lekman, but instead go and listen to this stuff instead, you wont be disappointed.

Perhaps most excitingly, this year he’s in the process of recording an album, which if teaser song “Rotten Apples” is anything to go by and if there’s any justice in this crazy world of pop music, will see Liam Launched into the public consciousness and embraced by the masses in the proportions that he deserves.
